Mine may mean millions for Juneau

JUNEAU -- The developer of the Tulsequah Chief Mine near Juneau says the Alaska capital could see an economic impact of $24 million annually when the mine begins operations.

Developer Redfern Resources hopes to begin production in the British Columbia mine in one year.

Salina Landstad of Redfern made a presentation on the mine Thursday to the Juneau Chamber of Commerce.
